• The Kearney Bound application will be available to students at participating high schools from February 1st to May 1st of freshmen year.

• Demonstrated academic promise, ability and motivation to participate

Benefits of Kearney Bound Program for University 学生

KB 学生 enroll in the fall of their freshman year in the 大学基金会 class.

大学基金会 is a semester-long, transition class.

Course topics include clarifying educational and personal goals, 自我意识发展, 探索专业和职业, 参与bet36365体育, 迎接新的挑战, 了解大学资源, 在大学阶段学习, 阅读和考试技巧, 写作和口语策略, 有效管理时间, 批判性思维, 金融知识.

• 4 years of English must include intensive reading and writing.

• 1 year of an academic core elective (preferably a 4th year of math)

In addition to completing a course of study that meets the bet36365体育 Admission requirements, 这些大学预科学生将: 

• Attend and participate in all Kearney Bound activities at your school and at bet36365体育.

• Register for ACT two times starting no later than April of the junior year (ACT waivers will be provided to those eligible for one exam)

• Participate in leadership activities in the assigned high school and/or community including but not limited to: athletics, 学生会, 俱乐部, 和/或社区服务.
• 科尔尼边界协调器, and other professionals in the program (including the Director of 招生, 财政援助署署长, 教育工作者, 父母, 兄弟姐妹, and/or school counselors) maintain the right to discuss legal matters pertaining to Kearney Bound students and share it with essential personnel to maintain the integrity of the program.
